Why Business?

I have always been interested in a job that involves working with other people, so when I applied to colleges I was interested in a business focus. When I applied to Western, it was the entry into their CBE Distinguished Scholars Program that really helped me make the choice. This program allows me to get early entry into all of my business classes, along with extra courses only available to Distinguished Scholars. Along with this, Western’s small school feel has allowed me access to a much more broad education than I intended. I am still declared a business marketing major, but I am also declared a computer science minor and a journalism public relations minor! With this, I really look forward to bringing my broad knowledge of different departments to the student ambassador program.
