This page describes what The Compass Church believes about Jesus and his church.

God is Good.

God is good. His creation is good. His word is good. His love is good.

Scripture is God's word to us.

The bible is Gods message to us. The bible is truth, and within it we find out who God really is.

Everyone has sinned.

All humans will sin at some point in their life. But we all have the potential to do tremendous amounts of good too!

Only God can forgive us.

God sent Jesus to die on the cross so that our sins would be forgiven. But how do we accept this gift of forgiveness? We say yes to Jesus and follow his lead.

The Holy Spirit lives within us.

The Holy Spirit lives in every single person who follows Jesus. The Holy Spirit encourages us to love and spread God's message.
