Little about Taiwan...

Taiwan's total land area is only about 14,400 square miles; it is shaped
like a leaf that is narrow at both ends.It lies off the southeastern coast
of mainland Asia. Many airlines fly to Taiwan, helping make it the perfect
travel destination.

Taiwan has a great mixture of urban metropolis and nature! It has over
300 mountains. It is reputable as a "Mountainous Island". The island is
spotted with numerous mountains over 3,000 meters. It is also home to
the Northeast Asia's tallest mountain, Yushan, which is nearly 4,000
meter in height.

In Taiwan, the cloud-piercing Taipei 101 tower and the frenetic 24-hour
pace of life leave no doubt about the cosmopolitan nature of the cities,
and the contrast between city and countryside, together with the blending
of the old and the new, leaves you with the feeling of being in a time
tunnel that passes from the past through the present and into the future.
