About Me
My name is Richard Victor Carroll Jr, and I go by Ricky. Since high school I have had a knack for puzzles and problem solving that pointed me towards what I am now pursuing at Western Washington University. Through my Computer Science program I have learned several languages including C, Python, and Java and found interest in security as a specialty. Between over 10 years playing competitive soccer, being a board member for the Cyber Security Club at university, and volunteering with Young Life, I have refined other valuable character traits such as empathy, an open-minded posture, and integrity as a team member. Outside of school I volunteer with Young Life, a non-profit ministry with the mission of investing in kids, and spending my Thursday mornings facilitating a bible study for middle school boys. Lastly, but probably most important, my favorite food is mac n cheese.
