Slate is a tablet and whiteboard system that puts teachers in control of student learning. Instead of the distraction of iPads and computers in classrooms, Slate provides a streamlined, interactive classroom experience.
Power to the pen.
Slate's stylus is slim: designed to fit perfectly into children's hands. It is made out of durable, easy to clean plastic, with a magnetic strip along one side. This magnetic strip keeps pens from rolling off desks, and also serves as an inductive charging dock when placed on the tablet.
The tablets have a home.
Slate tablets dock within the Slate Board for charging, similar to how the Slate Pens dock within the Slate Tablets. This nesting effect keeps all pieces neatly tucked away together when not in use.
Power to the Teachers
Slate keeps students focused, and teachers in control. Teachers can monitor students progress on assignments and class percentages from the main Slate Board in order to best facilitate learning for everyone.
