My first ever blog!

Why hello there. Amanda's my name and fun's my game.

I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself, no?

I was born in Arica, Chile. That's a country in South America in case you didn't know. For some reason most people don't until I clarify. Pretty weird, right? I guess I've always grown up thinking everyone in the United States had some inkling about the southern continent, but I suppose I'm a little biased.

I do know Spanish, but not enough to speak fluently. That's cause when my parents adopted me, they took me straight to Seattle when I was barely one! I suppose that makes me a bit of a gringo! Fortunately, I understand Spanish better than I can speak it.

Anyway, I'm starting this blog for a few purposes. Mostly, it's a nice place to put down my thoughts about me, the world, and my place in it.

I have a few hobbies. But my true passion lies in the arts... Well, I like all art, but I'm not what you'd call an actor. Painting is where I've placed my game in, and it's what I'm relying on to have a better future. Unfortunately, I'd rather have my paintings on a more professional website, so this isn't it. Still, I do have some art pieces here, and I hope you enjoy them all.
