The design challenge began by being given two words that philosophically or physically describe the direction which became a starting point for my exploration. The other driver of the design was the limitation of using one primary or dominant material with minimal use of other materials.
Quater size proof of concept model and computer generated renderings.
I used virtual reality to view my initial 3d CAD model and get a sense of my form and dimension constrains.
To save space, I experimented with locating the I/O ports on the stand. After many iterations, I chose a nal design.
