About Me
My first introduction to algorithms was learning how to solve a Rubix Cube when I was 13. I wanted to do it because it seemed to be impossible, and I was never the type to pass up a fun challenge. It was difficult at first, but after a while I started to see the connections and patterns until eventually finding success. It was an obstacle I needed to overcome.
I look at coding in the same way. It’s frustrating when I’m stuck on a problem, but working on an interesting program inspires me to persevere. I lose track of time. Hours pass by and it seems closer to minutes. Not many other activities give me this feeling. It is because of this determination and interest in problem solving that I believe I will be a perfect fit for the software development.
Currently, I am attending Western Washington University in Bellingham Washington. When I graduate in June 2020, I plan to move to Minneapolis to be closer to my family and pursue full-stack development.
