Local Spots to Check Out

The Arboretum	Adjacent to Western Washington University Campus	The Arboretum is an excellent spot to take a miniature hike or enjoy a condensed (and dense) version of nature. There are great hiking trails throughout, and a watchtower at the top.
Lake Padden	4882 South Samish Way	There are multiple great recreational activities taking place at Lake Padden. You can mountain bike, hike, jog, rent a kayak, fish and more!
Teddy Bear Cove	Along Chucakanut Drive	This hidden cove is easy to miss and can be a bit of a steep-climb, but the view and subtlety of the area make it great for a bonfire.
Whatcom Falls Park	1401 Electric Avenue, Bellingham	Whatcom Falls Park is perhaps the most majestic area in Bellingham. The Falls are absolutely gorgeous and necessary to see, should you stop in town ever.
