Internships
As part of the Archives and Records Management Certificate, students are required to complete a 350 hour internship at the institution of their choosing.
Over the past few years, our students have interned at places like the Yellowstone Archives, Mesa Verde Cultural Center, Uncivility of Washington Records Management Center, King County Archives, Glacier National Park Archives, Tuscan National Park Archives, and more! This internship is a great way to gain hands on, applied experience. After completing the internship, students rejoin in the fall to take Advanced Seminar in Archives Management, where students reflect on their experiences during their internship.
