The History of Nothing, Arizona

Citizens

Nothing, Arizona Nothing isn't nowhere, it's somewhere! Located in Arizona, Nothing is on the long stretch of US93 between Wickenburg and Kingman. Nothing can be found on mile marker 148.5 in the northbound lands of US 93. You will know you are getting close to Nothing once the temperature drops and trees start to surround you. The drive is one you will not soon forget.

Founded in 1977, not much of the History of nothing is know, but local legend says it was named by "a bunch of drunks." Also known as the "rattlesnake capital of Arizona," Nothing was abandoned in May 2005. In August 2007 Nothing was purchased by Mike Jensen who opened his own pizza shop!

Above is the local welcome sign stating "Thru-the-years- there dedicated people had faith in Nothing, hoped for Nothing, and worked at Nothing, for Nothing." The history of Nothing is surrounded in mystery and legend. The residences of Nothing claim that there was once nothing but sand and dirt for as far as the eye could see and then one day mountains just appeared out of nowhere and snow fell for days. Soon trees and springs were all around and new wildlife was all around!
